The first EP called Firesongs For The Soul is a more acoustic based with brush drums, inspired by sitting around campfires and singing harmonies. The Firesongs community grew (aided with a few baked dinners and a little wine) and all kinds of local artists feature on Spaces In-between EP. I sold the first pressing of both EP's and ended up compiling the folk-country tracks onto the Firesongs For The Soul LP. The more folk-rock/celtic tunes I put onto the album "Celtic Heart" with some new tracks written after a family trip to Ireland, the birthplace of my grandfather. A Horse Called Freedom was released 2014 & embraced more of an alt-country acoustic rock sound and explored old times, connections, relationship to the mother (earth) and shamanism. Headlights & Goodbyes features a special collaboration with Jeff Martin (The Tea Party)whom I met at a chance meeting at my producers studio and resulted in him playing on 5 of the album tracks. It began with the title track Headlights and Goodbyes. More of an eccletic album blending styles of folk-rock, blues, and alt-country. Wayfarers Home is a reflective acoustic driven work, wistful in nature and inspired by the German author Hesse who wrote about connecting to the simple things in life. Has quite a few songs in open tuning and you can catch behind the scenes stories and footage on the blog.
